A large original watercolor of the Armstrong Redwoods in Sonoma, California, 40 x 21 inches framed.
Description
Towering trees, a hush of light. The artist painted this scene from a photograph he took in the Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve in August 2024, and this is a much larger version of his earlier painting, Beneath the Redwoods. The tall, narrow format draws the eye upward and suits a stairwell, a hallway, or a wall beside a window.
